  1. Hopefully, you’ll not be wearing a Giant Claw costume on Halloween, but hey, that would be kind of cool to see someone tackle that getup. I always thought that big bird looked like one of Dick Dastardly’s flying machines covered in feathers, but that’s what happens when one watches too many cartoons and “B” movies as a kid.

    1. Hey! If I could find a costume that’s anywhere near spitting distance of The Giant Claw I would pay all the money I’ve got in Savings to wear it! LOL I think you’re right about the cartoon — I vaguely remember it. Confession– I still watch cartoons from the 60s. And you know I live for ‘B’ movies I was weaned on them. It relaxes me. BTW, I read your tribute to Burt Reynolds. If you see a nun avatar named Sister Cleophas –That’s me. It belongs to my official music website. Don’t know why it popped up when I liked your post.

I’ll just leave this here. Oh, and I guess Sister Cleophas’ appearance could be considered a bit appropriate in the oddest of manners given the circumstances. It did make me think of The Blues Brothers for a second (and I did poke at that link to your page and realized I’d read parts of it a while back). :D

    1. I couldn’t keep from falling down laughing if I was wearing that costume. But if there’s ever a chance to do it, I’ll photograph it and put it on The Last Drive In, so everyone can poke fun at me… LOL. The only thing better would be a Giant Killer Shrew or Crab Monster costume… I know it’s too soon, But I’m already getting the rush of Halloween in the air!
