I just finished watching The Naked Kiss last weekend, what a film! and of course Alan Ladd and Veronica Lake in This Gun For Hire has been a huge infuence on me as a songwriter!!! Looking forward to reading your review of A Woman Under The Influence, love the Criterion Collection DVD’s!!!
The Naked Kiss is one of my all time favorite films. It’s beautifully grotesque in the way that cult films should be. So many scenes absolutely stay with you for a long time. I’ll be doing a commentary on it down the road. And what did you think of the creepy childrens’ song?
im not trying to be a smart ass at all but it’s the (new york ripepr) not part 2. I thought the same thing when i got my copy. Thats the lines in the street it just appears that way on the cover! it’s stupid i know man.
